The Montreal Bike Fest, a week of activities devoted to cyclists and urban life, marks the beginning of festival season in the greater metropolitan area. The 2012 edition will extend from May 27 to June 3. With thousands of participants of all ages and 3,500 volunteers, this event continues to demonstrate, year after year, the passion Montrealers have for biking.

In addition to encouraging the daily cycling experience as part of Operation Bike-to-Work, the Montreal Bike Fest offers three distinctly different events: the Metropolitan Challenge, Un Tour la Nuit and, of course, the Tour de l’Île de Montréal, which winds up this unique North American festival in style.
