Metropolitan Challenge - Sunday, May 31, 2020
Kick-starting the Go Bike Montréal Festival and the bike touring season, this popular Challenge takes place south of the metropolitan region this year.

It follows part of the Achigan River, which derives its name from the Algonquin Indian word meaning the one that fights, inspiring you to give your best as you pedal through Sainte-Anne-des-Plaines, L’Épiphanie, Saint-Roch-de-l’Achigan and Saint-Lin-Laurentides.

How to get to the Metropolitan Challenge
ÉCOLE SECONDAIRE DU HARFANG | 140 rue des Saisons, Sainte-Anne-des-Plaines, Québec J0N 1H0
FROM MONTRÉAL: Take Highway 19 north (extension of Papineau Avenue). 19 becomes 335 North. Follow the signs to Sainte-Anne-des-Plaines.
FROM QUÉBEC CITY: Take Highway 40 west to Exit 96. Take 640 West to Exit 28 to 335 North. Follow the signs to Sainte-Anne-des-Plaines.
In Sainte-Anne-des-Plaines, the 335 becomes Sainte-Anne Boulevard. Turn left on Therrien Street. A perimeter near the departure site is provided for parking, which will be free. Attendants will direct you.

Itineraries: 50, 75, 100, 125 or 150 km Departure: Start between 7 a.m. and 10 a.m. and bike at your own pace Lunch:rest area or finish site?
You can make this choice when you register, up to 5 days before the Challenge. After this deadline, your lunch will be provided at the rest area that accommodates cyclists from 10 a.m. to 2 p.m.
On the 50-km route, the box lunch will distributed only at the finish site.
